what was wrong with your shoulder. My husband has got a bad shoulder as well from diving in touch football, that was 12 months ago and is only now just getting better and he has got back in the surf just a couple of weeks ago after doing the injury as he could not push himself up. He wants to be able to surf while in Bali without any prob. So reckon the Salonpas works, I have some here bought totally forgot about getting him to use it.
