I booked a deluxe room at Bali Mandira in July 07 for 8 nights from 21st March 08 for a special occasion.
The same day after I paid in FULL I discovered on another website the Mandira was in renovation.
I emailed the hotel and asked to be placed away from the renos and they said they couldn't guarantee it. Our travel agent also contacted the hotel and they replied... not only they couldn't guarantee us a room away from the renos but they couldn't guarantee us a room at all... as they are OVERBOOKED!! for that period.
Obviously the Mandira doesn't give a rat's arse. We have cancelled and going elsewhere and Sod the Mandira.
