Unsure if this is the same thing.
In 2006 there were demonstrations of Yellow Bamboo martial arts, involving pushing people over from a distance without touching them, on the beach in front of Petitenget temple (next to La Luciola Restaurant) most Sundays at 5 pm.
When i went to see it the Yellow Bamboo adherents were away attending a temple ceremony, so i missed out.
A couple of weeks later when i mentioned it to a Balian in Candi Dasa he said, "those Yellow Bamboo people practise black magic."
