I think they are doing renovations to rooms at Mandira Hotel so works may be noisy or annoying.
I wonder if this isnt the year to change to Mandira.

Renovation Advice
The management of the Bali Mandira Hotel & Spa have advised that they will be undergoing upgrading works from 10 March and are due to complete the works by 14 November 2008.
The hotel will be upgrading 6 deluxe rooms into Villas with their own private pool.
The hotel has taken the following measures to ensure minimal
disturbance to the rest of the property.
* Rooms to be upgraded are located along the outer edges and are relatively isolated.
* Buffer rooms have been created with a total of 16 rooms closed which includes the 6 upgraded rooms.
*The hotel will seal off the effected areas.
The hotel estimates the noise level to be minimal as mostly interior works to be carried out.
If your passengers wish to amend their accommodation, New Horizons Holidays will waiver any amendment fees.
