You may be walking on the footpath and they have decided to try and turn the walkways to a road lane, all different directions. I remember my first trip waiting in Denpasar for the lights to change to cross the road, when an Indonesian came up and tapped me on the shoulder and said if you are waiting for the lights to change you will be waiting all day lucky for us they showed us how you weave between the traffic that was going all different ways. I have said to some taxi drivers, if you can drive in Bali you can drive anywhere in the world hehehe crazy drivers. I am surprised there are not more accidents.
