Previously have left spare bathers, rubber thongs etc. I always leave extra coathangers (bought these as hotels never have enough of them) decent spirit glasses, evening handbag, carry bag, sometimes suntan lotion and after sun, really whatever is really only for Bali. Certainly allows more space in the suitcase. Sometimes hotels (where you are a regular guest) will store things for you. Griya Santrian does it and last trip friends bought an esky for their room at the Ramayana (hubby drinks lots of water & bintangs) and left it (filled up with stuff not needed at home) and the hotel has stored it. I wouldn't do this if it was going to be a long time between trips.
