I went to Bali with a bunch of people. Some of us had a good time, so of us had a crap time. One of the girls was a nut job and was only content when stirring the pot. After the first couple of days I had worked out the nut jobs strategy and avoided her.
Went to the safari park, rode the elephants. Took the Bali virgins to Ubud, Kintamani etc etc.
Had a surprisingly lovely meal at the Indo National (the lobster), a wonderful steak at Yutz, prawns at Lanai. Saw the fire dance infront of the Zanzibar on sunday night. Had quite a few breakfasts at the KP, some lovely lunches at the Blue Ocean.
I was so annoyed that one person could potentially ruin other peoples holidays by being a "nut job" that I wrote an article for a travel magazine about rules for a successful holiday with a friend. If it ever gets published you will know where it came from (and yes they paid me for it).
I finally found Ketuts fixed price shop. I was glad to get home this time, and thats the first time I have ever been glad to leave Bali.
