I have read numerous posts which said the beds at KP are very hard. I wonder what the degree of hardness is? When we were last in Bali (2006) and Thailand (2007) all beds were very firm but when you say "very hard" do you mean like sleeping directly on a board or just a very firm mattress?
Also what is an "egg crate mattress" that someone mentioned recently?
