After just reading a post about this I would like to comment on what I have been told directly from Medibank Private.
As I am going over beginning of April I thought I would get a quote of dental work ( 2 Crowns) I was really inpressed with the price $250 each.
I have been quoted $1300 each back here.
I rang Medibank and they said they would not pay for work done in Bali unless it is emergency work done. As I know what I need done before I leave it is classed as pre exsisting. When I worked out the out of pocket expense It is still cheaper for me to get done in Bali.
My argument to them was if I need emergency work down while I am there I would use my travel insurance.
I would think they would pay as it is a lot cheaper for them than to get work done here and they pay refund (not much logic there) lol.
Just thought I would post my experiance with Medibank.
