The West coast of Aust is a awesome place, some from the east say we are slow and boring but we really do have a beautiful state. My suggestion to you would maybe not stay in the middle of Perth as you could be staying in any capital in the world, basically theyre all the same ish!!!!! Try staying on the beach somewhere like scarborough or Cottesloe and yoy can travel into the city for day trips. theyre are appartments in Sorrento right on the beach or at the Hillarys marina which are beautiful and you may well feel that you are already in Bali. The weather is unreal, and with the CLEAN beaches at your doorstep you cant go wrong. I hope you enjoy your visit to our state and that the people are friendly to you. Enjoy
