We stayed in a one bedroom Villa (with a pool which is gthe one I assume you mean) back in January and absolutely loved it. All Villa's are exactly the same so it makes no difference which one they give you. All Villas and Tropical Terrace rooms are on the beach side.
Just a tip - as the Villas have an outside bathroom and outside toilet you tend to be a sitting duck for the mozzies. If you can, take some extra Mortien mozzies coils (they provide one every day but that tended to not be enough) and buy some mozzie spray at Circle K once you get there.
