I have used skype all over the world. I have a headphone set with microphone that I plug into my laptop to be able to speak. **Warning** if you intend on using the speaking mode on Skype when you are in a public place or WiFi hotspot please remember those that are sitting in your proximity as they dont want to hear your conversation. For this reason I prefer to use skype in the same way as MSN and type my responses while chatting with home ; i.e they talk, I listen and type my responses to them.
