I've never had vacs and been to Bali many times,I have taken my 5 kids ranging in ages from 4 to 20 and not had anything that the vaccs would have avoided! Since it,s going to be a surprise I personally would go without. I'd be more inclined to be careful with Bali belly and mossies.We were very careful with kids and food and hygiene yet my daughter got very ill and on return home ended up in hospital. not bali belly but some sort of parasite in belly.Not trying to scare you! just saying that Bali is great and all you can do is take care and enjoy your holiday.More than likely no one will get anything!!Luck of the draw maybe??
