Hi all. I'm looking for anyone who will be in Bali in March and is interested in going out fishing. Bluey posted about a guy he knows who offers great fishing charters at great prices. I love the thought of throwing lures at feeding schools. I emailed him and his reply is below. My girlfriend is not a boat person so looking for another to split the cost though worst case i'll still go out by myself. The website says it's AU$50.00 per person, minimum 2 people and has photo's of a few boats getting onto a school of trevali. The site is baliwaves.com click on reports and click on fishing. I've fished a few times out of benoa where we dragged lures around for 3 or 4 hours with little success then bottom bounced for a few more hours catching 6 inch reef fish and by memory cost more per person. This sounds much more exciting and it's out of Tuban so less travel for us who stay around kuta etc. I'll be there from the 9th til the 22nd of March. If anyones interested email me. Cheers Ross
Hi Ross,
Yeah Blue contacted me asking what price we charge for sport fishing a
couple of days ago.
Ok we charge AU$130.00 for one or two guests and mainly target all
surface feeding species.
We troll lure's and also take spinning rods as we get quite a lot of big
schools of GT's and Tuna feeding on the schools of surface bait fish.
All rods and reels are supplied but we don't mind if you bring our own.
Our boats are located in Tuban on the west coast.
All you need to do is give me a call or drop me an email when you get
settled in Bali and we can (if weather permits) arrange a day or two
fishing with you.
Best Regards from Bali
