Just some information to let future travellers know what this Hotel was like recently, and if never been there before like us.
We stayed for 14 nights up near the front enterance up stairs in room 228, and it was the quietest place we have stayed in for nearly 10 years! There was mainly guests around 50+ and the room was a bit smaller than some other hotels around, but clean, comfortable, and the american breakfast served was certainly excellent and sufficient.
All staff were polite, freindly and helpful as probably everywhere.
Only on the last day European younger family arrived, with babies and young children, which made it a bit noisier, and they took up the both pools continously, but I guess we were lucky we were going! It must be the school holiday season up in the northern countries, as there appeared to be an influx of foreigners (not Aussies!)
This Hotel appears to a favourite for older Australians who meet regulary each year here, and being around 75-80 rooms a comfortable size for us type of older aussies!
Although it rained a fair bit,(which the wife and I don't mind as it was a bit cooler)one of our best trips.
There probably other good hotels about Legian, but I thought this may help someone around our age(62-63) considering a change.
