Forgot to mention another visit whilst I was there.
On the way to Ubud had our driver take us to the Bali Orchid Garden. 50,000 rp per person and had a look as we are currently landscaping a new Bali Garden at home.
Plenty of beautiful orchids and we bought two flasks of young orchids to bring home to raise for the garden. Each flask which is the size and shape of a small beer bottle contains between 25-50 baby orchids. You break the flask on your return and are given instructions on how to transplant and raise the seedlings. Well worth a visit if you are interested in this. They will survive for up to two months in the flasks.
