BUT, as I reported in a recent JBR, very much resting on its laurels and suffering from the Bali disease of thinking that a reputation needs no further effort. The menu was still reasonably interesting, but staff were indolent and disinterested. We also tried a breakfast at 09.00, but found all the staff asleep on the lounges. Maybe it was the wrong time of the year for them, being December.
