on your mobile and you won't be charged for anyone calling you from Aus. Obviously you won't be able to recieve any calls but people will be able to contact you via text msg if you need to be contactable from aus on your mobile.
Ring your service provider and have them send out information on global roaming - it isn't that hard to understand if you have a bit of time to digest it all. And you will get the correct info.
