Hi all ,I have just gotten back and while over there used drivers a few times. I found the best way was to ask the driver if it was his van/car or very clean & free drink some time bintang and have TV. If it was his we didn't barter too much, around 350000 for a day was fair but if he had a boss I would ask him how much his cut was and then negotiate a VERY cheap price (usually about 300.000) for the drive with a decent "tip" for him. and email him to : baliguide208@yahoo.com
