LAPTOP & ESKY IN BALI?

We are off to Bali again in 2 weeks and need to take our Laptop this trip to keep in touch with family ( for health reasons). We have a wireless laptop and our hotel has told us that they have internet access. Can anyone please tell me if this is sufficient or if there is anything else we should be taking.
Also can anyone tell me where we could buy an esky in Bali. We would like to buy our friend/driver one for his car? Thanks
