Travellers in transit can now see and enjoy Brunei for free

According to a report by The Brunei Times, Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) and Sunshine Borneo Tours have come together to offer transit passengers with more than four hours to spare the chance to see and enjoy Bruneri before jetting off to their final destination.
As part of the ‘Window on Brunei Transit Tour Programme', Sunshine Borneo Tours will guide visitors around Brunei's top tourist attractions which include Bandar Seri Begawan's waterfront that overlooks Kampong Ayer, the Yayasan Shopping Centre, Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque and the Sumhangsih Mulia.
"This is a complimentary tour for transit passengers where Royal Brunei Airlines is just providing a value added service that will help to promote Brunei," said Russell Knox, RBA Corporate Communication Officer.
"Sunshine Borneo Tours sees the transit tour programme as a great opportunity to introduce Brunei to passengers who are travelling through our country," said YAM Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Wadood Bolkiah Pengiran Iola Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, the Chairman of Sunshine Borneo Tours, one of the co-signers for the agreement.
Passengers who wish to remain at the airport can instead opt for a complimentary set meal at the Coffee Garden in the departure hall.
