Yep, its only a 5 - 10 minute walk to Hardys. We always walk there and depending on what we have bought, sometimes get transport back to VS.
As you walk out of VS towards reception, walk up to road to Jl Danau Tamblingan, turn left and about half a km, opposite side of road to beach.
Can also walk along the beach heading south, right, walk along to the group of market stalls and walk up the road to Jl DT.
Dont forget to go to Cafe Jepun for a special nights dinner in Sanur. Its on the south end of Jl DT.
