In the last two weeks, I have travelled by both boat and plane. The ferry is Rp 28,000 and the plane (IAT) is Rp 309,000.
On Friday, the ferry was not operating due to bad weather. The is a third world travel experience. It is advantageous to those who want to leave from or arrive at Padang Bai.
Many agents overcharge for the airfare (eg Rp 550,000), including at the airline ticket counter! The price of Rp 309,000 is correct as of yesterday.
