Thanks to everyone for their lovely comments. For those who asked:

1. Ear is fine now, thanks.
2. Looks like we will be going at end of July/August for my 40th. Its been a painstaking process of methodically mentioning it every night since we got back!!
3. Hubby is yet to read these JBR's so point number 2 may be withdrawn!!
