My experience in travelling...it doesn't matter where I go, people put towels on their chairs and leave them there. I agree that putting your towel out on a chair before you go for breakfast is okay, as long as you intend to use it when you are done eating. But these people (from all different nationalities) who leave towels out all day long, sometimes on both beach and pool chairs is rude and selfish. There is nothing worse than wanting to go hang out on the beach or by the pool and all the chairs are taken, only to find that no one sits in those same chairs all day long.
