Yes they do have interconnecting rooms, my daughter used them with our grandkids.
As for the difference between superior or deluxe rooms, to be honest, I never knew there was a difference. It could be the upstairs rooms of the block that is facing the beach. The downstairs rooms are just a little stuffier. Upstairs, you can open your front door and balcony doors and get a lovely breeze thru.
