Have just returned from 10 nights at Puri Raja and loved it. Rooms simple but have averything you need. Breakfast is great. If u have it inc in your package you can order anything off the menu up to the price of the American breaky. I was having 2 banana pancakes and a fresh juice. The pool area is nice and cosy. You can't see the ocean from the pool but when it is windy this is good as the dining area protects the pool area from the wind. There are some great restaurants nearby - in particular Seaside. If you like being in the heart of all the shopping action perhaps you wouldn't like the location but we loved it. We visited the Melasti Spa which is withinn walking distance to the hotel and had several treatments here. My husband actually said the spa treatments were the highlight of his trip which surprised me.
