have stayed here numerous times and love it. Really depends what your after though. Although it is a large property its actually very quiet compared to some others. Has a huge main pool and 2 smaller pools - one especially for the villas some of these also have their own ? spa /plunge pool i think. They are really quite expensive even when ive tried to get a special rate when there. A deluxe suite would be a good option if you only have the one child. It is a bit further but $2 in a taxi to central kuta is nothing. Has lovely views out onto the ocean. We have stayed at busier places for different reasons but still love the serenity of the Patra. Breakfast is a buffet and weve always found it quite good. We usually do a supermarket shop when we get there for drinks ans snacks to keep in the room as a bit far too shops to walk.
Found the green garden spa next door will call and pick you up just a few mins away and excellent prices. Looking forward to going again myself soon. Judi
