is almost spot on. I was discussing this with Liz Travers(Robran)at the Spirit Cafe just yesterday. She was recently voted onto the planning committee.
They are talking about holding the event in early March. Last years winner Elpigi,is flying in from Alice Springs soon. Sadly it seems the inaugural cup holder (Miss Lucy from Toowoomba) is no longer in shape and will not be returning. I have noticed Rocket Rod, Doobie and Wayne Annoy out training recently so it must be very close to the actual event.
However Liz was a tad hard to pin down. She was more excited about bringing out the Australia New Idea magazine and showing me an article about her daughter Jade getting married to Ben of Big Brother fame.
