Gift for child

I know this might sound stupid but could anyone suggest a suitable gift for a Balinese friend's little daughter, she is 4 years old. Do they play with the same type of toys, dolls etc. that a 4 year old Aussie girl would play with? Would like to take something with me when I visit Bali.
