I see I will have to educate my other half with the shopping/bartering skills. I thought I did really well on my first trip to Bali in September, but I had to pay excess baggage fees with Garuda on the way back. I have learnt though with help of this great forum. When we go again in August, we are only taking the necessities for the first 2 days, then buying what we need for travelling around Bali, well up to Ubud for 7 days. After that who knows? Into the BGH for the first 2 nights, then Ubud for 7nights, after that Lovina and who knows where else?? Cheers Cheryl
