I am not sure, but I dont think travel agents make much commission from selling Jetstar, and if they dont earn a quid for their time and effort, then in all fairness, why would they sell Jetstar flights.
It is very easy to just go to the Jetstar site and book yourself online. Pay by credit card then and there and seats are secured.
Dont forget to take out your travel insurance as soon as you have paid for your flights, as the cost is no different to you and you will get longer cover, ie from now until August.
Other option from Melbourne is to fly Garuda.
I have flown Jetstar 3 times and again in 4 weeks time. I have booked all of these flights online, direct with Jetstar, from Melbourne to Bali return.
The Saturday and Tuesday flights are direct Melb to Denp. Flights departs Denpasar Saturday night and Tuesday night (same plane is used to fly to Bali, then collect the passengers returning back to Melbourne). Friday and Wednesday and could be Sunday fly via Sydney.
