I do it all the time. Go to the post office and buy a single or twin bottle storage pack and pack it or them in there, then pack your beach towels around them for extra packaging. A normal bottle of Champagne weighs 750ml and if you take 1 bottle you are under your quota of 1 Litre. No law against bringing alcohol into Bali only the quantity must be the legal limit.
