I am attaching a link to Wikimapia. This is well worth spending some time on, as it shows you where almost everything is in Sanur.
The SPPS should be right in the middle of the page, and Hardys Supermarket (and gift shop, etc.) is right behind it. Grab a blue taxi (if you can't take a short-cut and walk through - ask at the front desk) and get him to drop you off at Hardys, then you can wander up and down the street. There's breakfast/lunch/dinner every 5 metres (lol). We stay in Sanur every year, and love it. Any questions, email me. Click on my name in blue, then remove the "no spam" bit.
PS: With the blue taxi, make sure he turns the meter on. Pay him what it says on the meter, then tip him a little extra for himself. As it's your first trip, this takes a little getting used to, but you'll figure it out quickly enough.
