I also take along aloe-vera gel for after sun care and anti-histamine medication for any bites/stings etc.
The one thing I would say for those that have children is don't leave home without the aqua ear. Doesn't take much for those small ear canals to become sore from swimming pools.
We take a preventative one that you put in after each swim and also a treatement one that deals with 'swimmers ear'. (Sometimes you get a bit slack on holls!) You can't use the preventative once the ear
is sore.
p.s. Not medical but we take the toilet paper wipes that are now readily available in supermarkets in Aust.
