Seem to spend an unhealthy amount of time trudging around looking for large shoes sizes: 14 for me 12.5- 13 for "Lofty" my 6ft3 15year old son. We don't want to shop for shoes on holiday but 'she who must be obeyed' insists that it would ease her burden at home if we males hunted & gathered for cheap bargains over here. STRUTH... have you seen a pair of size 14's lately ? They fill a suitcase by themselves let alone set the weigh-in scales at the airport awhining. Sorry, I digress. Would anyone have come across "generous" shoe sizes for men in their travels be it sport or formal but not thongs and sandals? Please resist the urge to make analogies to Gulliver and Lilliputians. I know the average Balinese shoe size easily fits twice into mine.
