I have always sent my credit card details via email (including trip for this march)but recently i have heard on forum some people who only used their credit card at the hotels have been victims of skimming. Mine is ALWAYS near the limit so i never fear i will get ripped off! I did fax it the first time i recall but i always scared after that that i punch in the wrong digit, or anyone else can pick up the paper so email it is from then on. I guess you can email Desi and ask her if they take a Western Union transfer, or perhaps somehow deposit directly to their account. If you explain to her why, she might be able to give you alternatives, she is pretty good like that. Let me know how you go
