We stayed in a superior room in September 07 and we were on the left-hand side of the property (facing the beach). That side consists of a row of single storey rooms/cottages. Then the gardens and pathway run down the middle and the right-hand side of the property consists of a two-storey complex with a family room up near the reception and then deluxe rooms upstairs running all the way down to the pool/beach. I think the rooms on the single storey side closest to the reception are the standard rooms, then the superior rooms seem to be more in the middle of the property. Have you asked if they could set up a deluxe room with 2 beds? The deluxe rooms are definitely better then the superior - more space. We found our room, although adequate, very small. Having said that, we didn't spend much time in it. We loved everything about the hotel - it's location, breakfast, pool, staff, but we will request a deluxe room next time. The property isn't that big, so even if you are up near the reception, you aren't very far away from the pool/restaurant/beach. Hope that helps.
