.... 18 months ago. There are only 16 rooms in two 2 storey buildings facing each other on either side of a large pool (which has several levels). The stairway is in the middle, so you only have one room next to yours. The upstairs rooms are best, with private balconies.

The rooms have in-room safe, fridge, local TV, aircon, hot water. Comfortable. Bathroom a bit tired, but for the 200K Rp/night we paid, we didn't mind at all. Brekky (which we didn't have) is Indonesian only. There is no restaurant there - a lady comes each morning with the brekky. It was mainly occupied by Indonesians there for only a night or 2. It's a very quiet place. I felt quite safe there alone after hubby left to go to Roti surfing. Be sure to have your own loo paper, tho, as they never seemed to remember to replace it.

The location (which is nowhere near the beach) is convenient for Centro, about a 10-15 min walk to Kuta Square. There is a great warung opposite & a few other restaurants & another good warung on the way to the main road, where there are heaps of places to eat. The money changer on the corner was always honest.

Anything else, just ask.
