Just got back from my 10th trip in 12 years. Stayed at Kuta Seaview Cottages absolutely loved it. Location fantastic breakfast was good the only complaint is the binnies cost an arm and a leg, but apart from that a great hotel and will be staying there again in October. This trip was mainly for relaxation. We went on one trip and that was on a Quadbiking trek up at Tengkudak Village, it was fantastic the views were unreal and just biking through th village and having local kids chasing you and high fiving was great. The rice paddies are just so amazing ive always wanted to get up close. It took bout one and half hours to get there but it was worth it, great lunch at the end. We ate at a lot of restaurants we hadnt eaten at before Poppies there vegie curry is to die for, Sendock about 100m around the corner from stadium , i think thats right, great good priced food and Bintang Draught on tap that was really nice. Finally ate at Indonational yes the food was very good. Ate at Gosha for the first time in a few years had to try the chilli crab after someone recommended on here and i am glad i did it was yummo. I picked my crab and it cost 90000RP a kilo mine was 72000 worth which was very reasonable. Secret Garden been there a lot over the years had squid and it was shocking all dried up and stringy, didnt go back. Sat on the beach every evening at Blues and sipped on binnies and watched the spectacular sunsets. We arrived on the 20th Jan and had no rain for the 1st week then a little bit the last few days. Flew Garuda both flights on time which was great after hearing all the horror stories of late. This is my 1st JBR as i have a glitch on my computer that wont let me submit anything so have borrowed my daughters laptop now she has moved back so now i will be able to submit. This trip was the first time hubby and me hve been by ourselves and it was great now i am suffering the Bali Blues as i always do when i return home. Oh well only 9 mnths to go till we go back hopefuly for 3 weeks this time.
