DAY 3

Started the day with the usual routine, early morning walk then breakfast.
After breakfast we caught the hotel shuttle up to the art markets. Straight to the money changer as 18yr daughter had planned on doing
some serious knicker and bra shopping at Martahari.
The other daughters had the same plan.
After a couple hours we left with several bags of underwear and headed for a well earned drink and something to eat at De Lung Café outside Matahari. It's the one with the green awning and the water sprays.
Revived we now head back to the hotel for a swim.

Later that arvo, the hotel came to say it was time to head to the airport to collect my husband and the first of the newbie families. I talked them into waiting 30mins so that we would not have to wait so long, lucky I did as when we got there, 7 planes had landed and the one from Aus was number 5. We ended up waiting another hour before they appeared.
It was interesting to watch the looks on the faces of the first timers as we drove back to the hotel. I'm sure they didn't think we were going to make it.
After check in and the rearrangement of our room so the teenagers could share, we headed to the pool for cocktails and Bintangs.
Back to Segara spa to start Simone on her spa regime. 30mins for 30,000rp.
Tonight the newcomers were feeling very tired so dinner was next door at Green Garden.
Food is always good here and even better with the free 5min massages that seemed to last 10min.
The girls must have been very tired by the time they got through massaging all of us.
You can no longer eat upstairs as they have turned it into a massage room, similar to Febris.
We had a thunderstorm tonight and that was to be a sign that there might be a little bit of rain following soon.

Our numbers have now reached 19 and each family has a number for eating out. It makes for a hassle free meal time. We just tell the restaurant that we would like separate bills and that everyone knows what number bill they are. At the end of the night 6 bills arrive and we never had a problem.

DAY 4
Guess what it's raining.
Today everyone except for 5 of us headed to Benoa Harbour to do water sports.
Mary from the hotel organised it for us. It cost $30AU per person and that included transfers paragliding, jet ski and fly fish. Not sure if this was a good price or not, but everyone really enjoyed themselves.

The rest of us headed to Bali Galleria. We were not impressed with this place so we headed to the Rip Curl factory outlet. The teens bought quite a lot here. Next stop was Makro, not as much variety as Carrfour but cheaper. We stocked up here on whitening t/paste.

This afternoon our massage was to be at Green Garden. 1hr foot and leg for 77,000rp

Tonight we went to Dewi Sri for dinner. We had heard so many good reports about this place and were looking forward to the fresh seafood.
We booked for 8.00pm and were told when we arrived that all that was left was Groper and medium prawns. They said that you should have come early. Oh well maybe next year.
