the low down on GFF points accumulating

ok got a hold of garuda today, there's the deal.

if you join as a FF today and you travel say, in may, then your points accumulated will run out 12 months from when you join, ie today 2009.

Therefore, for those who travel once a year, like myself, it is useless being a GFF member. The bloke said to me you needed to travel about 3-4 times a year to get any real benefits from it.

So, I had a feeling it was a waste of time, ill never get off blue card long enough to keep my silver points for next trip...
