We stayed at this resort about 3 yrs ago and stayed in the bungalow type accommodation down near the pool and the resaurant which had inter connecting rooms. and there is also 1 family bungalow which I believe is kind of self contained with a family room/lounge type area and a small kitchen. I think the price increase for that bungalow is substantially more than where we stayed though.
We were staying at another Hotel since then and had some friends stay in the tower rooms at the madira so we went to have a look at them. They we nice and clean etc but too far from the pool and beach for my liking. Then again maybe you'd prefer to be a bit further away. It's all about what suits you and your family.
All in all we love the Mandira
