Yes the prices have gone up! We have just booked to go in May and have chosen the Air NZ/Garuda package. Air NZ to OZ then Garuda to Bali. $1529 incl of taxes. Other cheaper option is. $1100 incl Taxes to Brunei, then on to Bali. You do not need to stay over night in Brunei however you will need to weigh a few things up like...Takes longer to travel to Brunei and then you have stop over of approx 4hrs, then you dont arrive in Bali until 1am, yet you will still have to pay for accom for that day/night. We decided that YES it does save approx $330 p/p but from the time we jumped on the plane in Auckland till the time we arrive in Bali is 17hrs. And not too mention it is similar coming back, So the most direct way is the best for us. Look on Bali.co.nz and you will find flight details. Cheers
