Email them directly and you will get a great deal - the sooner the better, that is how I got a good deal, I paid half of what you are expecting to pay.
I stayed in a downstairs room about halfway from the pool and it was terrific, I just walked out from the room to the pathway, up past the pool and straight onto the beach (no road or walkway between the hotel and the beach) - the morning walks before breakfast were awesome and one morning I went horseriding :) You can walk all the way to Kuta on the beach if you want, but that was a bit too far for me, I just walked to Legian.
You get a buffet breakfast, you can have a hot or cold breakfast or an Indonesian breakfast if you want. The service was excellent.
There is a great view of the ocean from the pool and while you are eating at the restaurant area. I thought there were plenty of sun lounges, I didn't have to get there too early to get one.
Seminyak is quieter than Legian and Kuta, I was ok to walk or catch a taxi to where I needed to go. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and clubs nearby. I loved the shopping on the street in Seminyak, it kept me busy for days and I still didn't get to all the shops!
