were sensitive for a day. The dentist gave me some pain killers just in case. I suppose some may find it worst than others. The proceedure did not hurt at all, just time consuming, sitting with your mouth propped open for around 90 minutes, with the gel & lazer light on them. The dentist recommends not to have certain foods & drinks for a day. (flavoured drinks, red wine etc) All in all worth having the whitening done.
