Hi all, just a background as to clarify where I am coming from. Have been to Bali with my family every year for about 17 years, We have flown with Garuda for about 11 of these trips and have never had any gripes or grief with them and have alway been very happy to travel with them.
With this said we are not happy now, having just been informed that our flight on Wednesday 12th Sept has been cancelled and we have been rebooked on Thursday flight which means one less day in Bali (MAJOR PROBLEM)but also caused some issues regarding the connecting flights and accomodation given that we are coming from all over NSW. Garuda has informed us that the flight has been commadered dur to APEC, forgive me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure they knew abotu APEC for several motnhs before this date and I am hoping some sort of planning has gone in to this event. What has made matters worse is that Garuda is not accepting any responsibility and we are now one day less in paradise but also have to dig into the spendings account to cover an extra day in Sydney.
I would love to hear any suggestions on how this problem may be made slighty better or if you are in the same boat. Any comments welcomed
