I head off in less than two weeks (and yes I am counting the days). I usually stay at the Bali Hai (how tragic is that staying in the same tired/run down place each year?)before heading off past Ubud for some quiet RnR. However Bali Hai is closed now - and I will miss the massages in the bale in the hotel grounds, getting up pre-dawn and watching the sky lightening from my balcony as the hotel staff go quietly about their early morning chores, not to mention the great satay and nasi campur and the friendly staff. Does anyone know if,when the Bali Hai will reopen or if you you've come across any of the staff like Chok or Yanti from the hotel spa or the lovely Dungkun from the pool.
