The sort of parent that would leave their 4 year old in the kids club is the sort of parent that has:
1) Checked the hotel policy about what ages are accepted and put their child in accordingly. If you look on the Dynasty website or contact the hotel you will learn that children are accepted from the age of 4 - if the child is under the age of 4 a parent or baby sitter is required. As my child was 4 at the time I beleieve that yes, if the child is put in the kids club the kids club is there to babysit my child whether a pool be in the vicinity or not.
2) Advised and discussed the fact that my child can't swim. They were more than happy to accept responsibility for my child (as they should be as he met their criteria) If they weren't their to babysit my child by the pool, why put the kids club by the pool and readily accept kids that can't swim (and advise the parents that they are happy to do so).
On another note, previously I did not mention that while I was staying at the Dynasty the parents of a 7 year old boy left in the kids club were running around frantically looking for their child and later found him wandering alone down the beach after he had wandered away from the kids club.
Therefore I don't know what sort of parent would leave their child in this kids club at all.
