I've posted this 2x below, but no-one ever reads my posts, I go one more time. Garuda had an atrocious reputation in Europe for years and years before they stopped the service. Every one joked about it, but the bottom line was there was not enough money for proper and regular maintenance of the airplanes. If you were lucky, you got one of their new planes and there was no problem; otherwise there were always problems which led to inevitable delays. The only thing they had going for them in the end was their cheap fares from Europe. Then they stopped the direct service and everyone had to transfer at Jakarta. Eventually I just gave up and started paying 30% more to fly Singapore. More more problems, no more belly-aching. I don't know how much choice you guys have down there, so maybe you'll all just have to live with it.That's the end of this story. Bye-bye.
